Role: PeopleSoft FSCM Techno-Functional

Location:
Remote Duration: 6-8 month contract Role Summary PeopleSoft FSCM Techno-Functional Consultant to deliver PeopleTools and PUM image upgrades, combining in-depth Financials functional knowledge with hands-on technical skills. Functional Expertise In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM modules:
• General Ledger
• Project Costing
• Cash Management
• Accounts Payable
• Fixed Assets (Asset Management)
• eSettlements
• eSupplier Connection Technical Expertise
• PeopleTools: Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, Query, BI Publisher, nVision
• PUM and Change Assistant, including Change Packages and the PUM Dashboard
• Compare and merge/copy techniques, Data Mover, project migration
• Strong SQL on Oracle/SQL Server
• Fluid UI, Event Mapping, Related Content, Selective Adoption

Key Responsibilities
• Act as the functional-technical point of contact for the FSCM PT/PUM upgrade workstream.
• Analyze PUM images and the PUM Dashboard to identify relevant fixes and enhancements.
• Perform functional and technical impact assessments across configuration, processes, interfaces, reports, and security.
• Perform customization analysis, compare/merge, and retrofit on the recent image; recommend retirement or re-engineering of customizations.
• Develop and unit test retrofits, fixes, and enhancements in PeopleCode, SQR,



and Application Engine.
• Configure new or changed functionality and update security roles and permission lists.
• Validate integrations and interfaces post-upgrade.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, technical designs, and migration runbooks; maintain requirements in TFS.
• Coordinate with Business Process Owners, Application Owners, and technical teams.
• Prepare test scripts; support SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing.
• Support migration, cutover, and go-live.
• Coordinate with Oracle for bug fixes in delivered code via the client service account. What are the top 3 skills required for this role?

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Fluid pages
• Familiarity with TFS tool Additional Information: Team size, direct reports, key deliverables, unique selling points, additional qualifications, team culture etc. Team size – 8-10 (onshore + nearshore + offshore) No direct reports. Key Deliverables – PS FSCM PT and PUM upgrade work, single POC for techo-functional work from nearshore, co-ordination with various client teams and offshore team, keep/drop analysis, various testing and passes for PUM upgrade.
