About the Opportunity August Electronics is looking for a creative, organized and curious Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent prospect for someone looking to build their career in marketing while gaining hands-on experience across a variety of projects, from digital content and communications to CRM management, events and business development. Working closely with our Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist, you'll help bring marketing initiatives to life, support day-to-day marketing and sales activities, collaborate with teams across the organization and contribute ideas of your own. We're looking for someone with a foundation in marketing who's excited to build on their experience, comfortable asking questions and interested in growing their skills and responsibilities over time. What You'll Be Doing
• Content Creation: Develop written and visual content for social media, website updates, newsletters, presentations and other marketing materials.
• Digital Marketing: Support website maintenance, social media management, SEO initiatives and digital campaigns.
• CRM Management & Reporting: Maintain and update customer, prospect and opportunity information in HubSpot, support lead tracking and pipeline management, and assist with reporting, data analysis and CRM improvements.
• Marketing & Communications: Assist with internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, company announcements and promotional activities.
• Events & Trade Shows: Help coordinate industry events, trade shows and sponsorships, including planning, logistics and marketing materials.
• Research & Business Development: Research industry trends, prospective customers and market opportunities while supporting prospect outreach, lead generation and business development initiatives.
• Marketing Coordination: Help organize projects, maintain marketing resources,



track performance metrics and coordinate activities with internal teams and external partners. What We're Looking For
• A background in marketing, communications, business or a related field, with some practical experience through employment, internships, co-op placements or relevant projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an interest in content creation and storytelling.
• Creativity and familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design platforms.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• An interest in both the creative and analytical sides of marketing, with the ability to work comfortably with data, spreadsheets and digital tools.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with a willingness to ask questions, receive feedback and learn new skills.
• Familiarity with social media, Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, website management, SEO or marketing analytics is considered an asset.
