Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Medicine Hat, AB. The Salesperson will engage directly with agricultural clients to understand their irrigation needs, present suitable products and solutions, and prepare quotations and sales proposals. Daily responsibilities include visiting customer sites, conducting needs assessments, following up on leads, managing a sales pipeline, and closing sales while maintaining strong, long-term relationships. The role also involves coordinating with technical and installation teams, providing product demonstrations, and ensuring accurate documentation of orders and customer information.



The Salesperson will contribute to achieving sales targets and supporting overall business growth through proactive outreach and exceptional customer service. Qualifications
• Strong sales and customer service skills, including relationship-building, negotiation, and follow-up capabilities.
• Knowledge of agriculture or irrigation systems, or a willingness to learn technical product details related to water management solutions.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple clients, site visits, and sales activities efficiently.
• Comfort working in office and in the field, including visiting farms and outdoor locations as part of daily duties.
• Basic proficiency with computers and common office software for managing customer records, quotations, and reports.
• Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract required . A company truck and fuel are provided for company related travel.
• Previous sales experience in agriculture, equipment, or related industries is an asset; high school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education in agriculture or business is considered an advantage.
