Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Edmonton, AB, responsible for overseeing vehicle financing and insurance products for dealership customers. This role involves meeting with customers to review financing options, explaining terms and conditions, and ensuring all contracts and documentation are completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements. The Finance Manager works closely with the sales team and lending partners to secure approvals, structure deals, and optimize profitability while maintaining a customer-centric approach. Daily responsibilities include analyzing credit applications, preparing finance and warranty packages, reconciling finance transactions, and maintaining detailed records.



The role also includes monitoring financial performance metrics, supporting dealership leadership with reporting, and promoting ethical, transparent financial practices. Qualifications
• Demonstrated skills in automotive or consumer finance, including experience reviewing credit applications, structuring financing deals, and working with lending institutions.
• Strong abilities in financial analysis, budgeting, and basic accounting to support accurate deal calculations and reporting.
• Proficiency with dealership management systems, finance software, and standard office tools (e.g., Excel, CRM platforms).
• Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and build trust.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, privacy requirements, and compliance standards related to automotive financing and insurance.
• Proven attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple deals, documentation, and deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
• Prior experience in an automotive dealership finance or business office role is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in finance, business, accounting, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
