About the Role
House Person plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of hospitality facilities to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This position is responsible for supporting the operations team by managing the upkeep of public and private areas, including guest rooms, corridors, and service zones. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying maintenance needs and promptly addressing them to uphold safety and quality standards. Collaboration with various departments is essential to coordinate timely room turnovers and support event setups. Ultimately, the House Person contributes significantly to the smooth operation of the property, enhancing guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Minimum

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, maintenance, or a related role within the hospitality industry.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, with an understanding of safety protocols.
• Valid work authorization for Canada. Preferred

Qualifications:
• Certification in hospitality or facility maintenance.
• Experience working in a fast-paced hotel or resort environment.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations specific to the hospitality industry.
• Solid communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and management.




• Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to meet established hospitality standards.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly arranged and stored.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department for timely resolution.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper functioning at all times.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and front-of-house teams to facilitate efficient room turnovers and guest services.
