Design scalable AI infrastructure with Python and Kubernetes from Canada, working remotely first and visiting Montreal two to three times quarterly. Build reliable platforms for large-scale model serving.

As a founding Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer, you will report to the Chief Technology Officer. You will combine software engineering with systems expertise across public cloud and on-premises environments. Your work supports high concurrency, performance, security, and service quality for AI workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design multi-cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Orchestrate deployments with infrastructure-as-code and containers
- Benchmark inference workloads and optimize hardware utilization
- Maintain monitoring systems for reliability
- Integrate optimization solutions within customer infrastructure

Requirements:

- Five or more years in AI infrastructure or systems engineering
- Proficiency in Python and scalable APIs
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, and Terraform
- Production experience shipping LLM serving systems
- Experience with Ray, RayClusters, or KubeRay
