As an Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will perform skilled adjustment, maintenance, and repair work under general supervision. Calmont Leasing is part of The Calmont Group, a Canadian transportation solutions company. The position supports light and heavy-duty trucks assigned by the Shop Foreman. You will interpret work orders and technical manuals while completing accurate repairs. The work also includes testing vehicles against manufacturer specifications and legislated regulations. Detailed written reporting completes each work order.

Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain and review work orders from the Shop Foreman




- Interpret technical manuals and diagnose faults or malfunctions
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems
- Examine vehicles for additional safety or service requirements
- Test repairs and complete detailed written work reports

Requirements:

- Second- to third-year Heavy Duty Technician apprentice
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of related industry experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Class 3 Driver's Licence considered an asset
