Provide perioperative nursing care at Stettler Hosp and Care Ctr, using critical thinking and practical nursing skills. Support patients across surgical journeys.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will support Day Surgery within an interprofessional health care team. Your practice includes nursing processes, problem solving, decision making, and patient and family centred care. Care aligns with CLPNA, ORNAC, and CSA standards, legislation, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver safe, efficient, compassionate perioperative patient care
- Support patients before and after surgery
- Support patients before and after endoscopic procedures
- Apply nursing processes, critical thinking, and decision making
- Contribute to safety, respect, and collaboration

Requirements:

- Complete an accredited practical nurse education program
- Hold active or eligible Alberta LPN registration and permit
- Maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Have five years acute care experience, preferably surgery
- Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 20 pounds
