Plant Operator | 7/7 Rotation | Natural Gas Processing Facility

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Plant Operator in the Oil & Gas / Natural Gas Processing / Energy Operations in Dawson Creek, British Columbia.

Join a well-established natural gas processing operation in Northeast British Columbia as a Plant Operator working a 7-on/7-off rotation.

This role offers the opportunity to operate and optimise complex gas processing facilities while contributing to safe, reliable, and efficient production. Ideal for operators with strong technical skills, a safety-first mindset, and experience in gas plant operations, compression, and process troubleshooting.

Total rewards:$45.00 - $65.00 hourly

A typical day:

- Operate and monitor gas processing, compression, and related facility equipment




- Optimise plant performance using SCADA and control systems
- Troubleshoot process upsets and support production targets
- Coordinate daily operating activities with operations and maintenance teams
- Complete hazard assessments, permits, lockout/tagout, and emergency response duties
- Maintain operational logs, reports, and regulatory documentation
- Support maintenance execution, turnarounds, and outage activities
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operating requirements

Successful candidates will have:

- Hold a BC or Interprovincial 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to obtain 3rd Class certification
- Possess experience in gas processing, compression, dehydration, or NGL facilities
- Use Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
- Apply strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Utilise CMMS systems and maintenance processes effectively
- Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Reside within commuting distance of the Dawson Creek area or be willing to relocate
