Coordinate Christmas Kettle locations for The Salvation Army while supporting volunteers, securing donations, and communicating daily campaign needs across your zone.
This short-term Area Team Lead contract oversees several Kettle sites in malls, grocery stores, and retail outlets. You will supervise volunteers, support location operations, answer donor questions, and help the Christmas Kettle Campaign contribute to solid communities. Evening shifts are involved, with 40 hours weekly through December 24, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Kettle delivery before volunteers arrive at locations
- Supervise, support, and assign Kettle Volunteers during campaigns
- Secure donations after shifts and deliver them appropriately
- Communicate daily issues and supply deficiencies to coordinators
- Submit accurate weekly timesheets and mileage reports
Requirements:
- Minimum one year related or customer service experience
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Satisfactory Background Check and Driver's Abstract required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 9 to 12 kilograms
