Deliver medication administration and resident assessments as a Registered Practical Nurse at Humber Valley Terrace LTC in Etobicoke. This is a casual vacancy.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the RPN supports long-term care residents through nursing care, treatments, assessments, and multidisciplinary meetings. The position follows College of Nurses of Ontario, Long-Term Care, and Southbridge Care Homes standards. It also coordinates resident care plans, physician orders, restorative care, and palliative care when required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer medications, treatments, assessments, and established nursing care
- Observe, report, and record resident symptoms and conditions
- Develop, implement, review, and evaluate resident care plans




- Process physician orders and assess referrals to doctors
- Supervise nursing staff and orient recent personnel

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario certificate of competence
- Registration or eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario
- Current First Aid and BLS certificates
- Knowledge of nursing, healthcare, and infection control practices
- Negative vulnerable sector check and required TB documentation
