Description
Directly reporting to the Site Manager, the Lodge Assistant is accountable for: Maintaining Site Cleanliness, Laundry Services, Safety and Security. This position entails a high level of interaction with our Residents.
Work Conditions And Physical Capabilities
The Pleasant View Lodge is a quick-paced environment with many repetitive tasks. The position can be physically demanding and attention to detail is important. This position requires a combination of standing & walking throughout the shifts.
This position is required to work night shifts as per the 6 week rotating schedule.
Personal Suitability
The applicant must show initiative, effective interpersonal skills, flexibility and be a Team player. Excellent oral communication, Resident focus, interpersonal awareness, dependability, judgement, values and ethics; reliability as well as organizational skills are an asset.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrates an understanding of generally accepted commercial cleaning practices
- High School Diploma
- WHMIS
- Level 4 Criminal Record Check
