This intern works with the Manufacturing Excellence Manager to optimize processes and workflows. You will identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and contribute to operational efficiency. The work includes data analysis, process documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct process analyses with the Manufacturing Excellence Manager
- Streamline workflows and reduce waste using lean methodologies
- Collaborate with teams on process improvements and best practices
- Analyze data and measure implemented changes
- Update standard operating procedures and work instructions
Requirements:
- Pursuing Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related degree
- Solid analytical skills for identifying inefficiencies and solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including Excel and PowerBI
- Lean Six Sigma coursework or experience is a plus
