Provide perinatal nursing care with Fraser Health, assessing childbearing patients, unborn babies, and families across complex clinical periods. Work collaboratively within an inter-skilled care team.

This Registered Nurse provides direct care during intra, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum periods. The position requires comprehensive assessment, care planning, patient education, and clinical documentation. Fraser Health supports care aligned with BCCNM standards and person-centered practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients and unborn babies throughout perinatal care
- Initiate emergency care and coordinate appropriate transfers
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Teach families pregnancy, birth, postpartum,



and newborn care
- Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and referrals

Requirements:

- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
- One year of recent related perinatal nursing experience
- Postgraduate perinatal coursework or equivalent education and experience
- Current Basic Rescuer Level C and NRP certificates
