This HVAC Technician reports to the Mill Mechanical Supervisor and supports mining-related HVAC equipment. The work includes maintenance, equipment rebuilding, new installations, and troubleshooting. You will also address mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and low-voltage BAS system requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and predictive HVAC maintenance services
- Repair, service, and rebuild equipment as directed
- Install and modify HVAC piping and related equipment
- Balance airflow to ensure proper air circulation
- Document maintenance actions, irregularities, and requirements
Requirements:
- Five or more years of relevant skilled experience
- High school diploma, GED, or related work experience
- Dual trade designation or certification considered an asset
- Comfort working at heights and outdoors in inclement weather
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or collaboratively
