Support advanced cardiac monitoring at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre as a full time temporary Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Care Unit.

Working within the Cardiovascular Program, you will provide accountable, quality patient care for serious cardiology conditions. The seven-bed unit uses a multidisciplinary, patient- and family-centred model involving cardiologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, dieticians, social workers, and allied health professionals. Care follows RVH, College of Nurses of Ontario, and legislative standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide quality patient care within the Cardiac Care Unit
- Support patients and loved ones arriving in the unit
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Follow RVH, College, and legislative standards of care

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Critical Care certificates CC1 and CC2
- Pass the arrhythmia quiz with at least 80 percent
- Demonstrate computer literacy and qualified growth commitment
