Zenbooks seeks a Staff Accountant focused on exceptional customer experiences, continuous improvement, and proactive communication. You will maintain client records, prepare reports, and support Senior Accountants across recurring engagements. The work serves small and mid-sized businesses in diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain complete client accounting records through daily activities
- Enter data while preserving information and documentation integrity
- Review bills, invoices, and client-submitted documentation
- Prepare financial statements and reports for Senior Accountants
- Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, and sales tax returns
Requirements:
- One year of bookkeeping experience required
- Familiarity with Xero and/or QBO
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- High-speed internet and availability during core business hours
- Successful criminal background and/or education and employment verification
Support Zenbooks clients remotely through cloud accounting, accurate reporting, organized records, and responsive communication.
