Job offer: Technical Expert, Engineering - Aerostructure Integrator
Location: Dorval (Quebec)
Company: AAA Canada (mandate for a major aerospace player)
Type: 6 to 12-month contract
Responsibilities - Develop and review structural concepts, 3 D models, assemblies, installation drawings and detail drawings for assigned aircraft zones;
- Define metallic and composite parts, joints, interfaces, fastening concepts, tolerances and provisions according to applicable design requirements;
- Apply good design practices regarding load paths, manufacturability, assembly, inspection, maintainability, mass and costs;
- Coordinate structural definition with loads and stress, materials and processes, systems installation, aerodynamics, interiors, manufacturing, quality and other relevant disciplines;
- Resolve geometric and physical interface conflicts and support technical trade studies;
- Participate in design reviews and clearly communicate design intent,



assumptions, constraints and open points;
- Support justification and certification activities by providing complete and traceable design definition as well as technical justification;
- Support production, supplier and in-service investigations, including root cause analysis and design corrective actions;
- Manage design changes and maintain product configuration and definition data in the applicable PLM setting;
- Act as the discipline technical authority for the most complex or high-impact integration issues;
- Guide design architecture and strategy, resolve cross-functional technical risks and provide authoritative recommendations to management;
- Develop organizational capabilities through governance, standards, mentoring, knowledge
