Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Underwriter to join a growing commercial property and casualty team in Alberta. This is an opportunity for a technically strong underwriter who enjoys working across a broad commercial portfolio, taking ownership of accounts through the full underwriting lifecycle, and acting as a senior resource to a relatively junior team.
The successful candidate will assess, price, structure, and manage commercial risks from initial quote through binding, policy issuance, and invoicing. They will also support referrals above junior authority levels, build solid broker relationships, participate in broker visits and industry events, and contribute to the continued growth of the commercial portfolio.
