The Vice President, Finance, Americas is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and oversight across the Americas region. This role partners with executive and business leaders to drive financial performance, support growth initiatives, ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements, and deliver accurate financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The VP Finance leads regional finance functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, treasury, internal controls, and financial operations, while fostering a high-performing team and supporting the achievement of organizational objectives.
Reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities
Oversee accounting operations for the Americas region, including general ledger, month-end/quarter-end closing, and consolidation.
Own inventory accounting for the Memphis distribution center — valuation methodology, standard costing, cycle counts, and obsolescence/reserve policy.
Ensure COGS accuracy and margin analysis tied to distribution operations.
Ensure accuracy of financial statements prepared in accordance with local GAAP in each jurisdiction (US, Canada,



and Lat Am countries).
Prepare and submit financial reports in compliance with IFRS and Group accounting standards, ensuring quality and compliance.
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits, implement improvement plans, and maintain effective communication with internal and external audit teams.
Work closely with the HQ finance team to ensure consistency in reporting formats, policies, and processes.
2. Compliance
Maintain and enhance internal control and accounting procedures to align with Group policies and US/Canadian/Lat Am regulations.
Ensure customs and bonded warehouse compliance — duty deferral, in-bond transfers, and CBP requirements — for the Memphis distribution center, partnering with trade compliance and logistics teams.
Ensure compliance with local direct and indirect tax regulations, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and multi-state US sales/use tax nexus; complete filings accurately and on time.
Regularly review the reasonableness of intercompany
