Practice as a Full-Time Staff Pharmacist in Greater Sudbury, using prescription verification and clinical assessment skills. This Ontario opportunity includes evening and weekend shifts. This Staff Pharmacist serves a high-volume community pharmacy processing approximately 3,000 prescriptions weekly. Responsibilities include medication counselling, clinical recommendations, methadone services, and Level B non-sterile compounding. You will collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and healthcare professionals while supporting patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify prescriptions accurately and safely
- Assess medication therapy and identify potential drug interactions
- Provide medication counselling and clinical recommendations
- Support methadone services and Level B compounding
- Ensure Ontario regulatory and qualified standards compliance
Requirements:
- Licensed Pharmacist in Ontario
- Active Ontario College of Pharmacists registration
- Strong community pharmacy experience
- Excellent clinical and medication knowledge
