Lead People and Culture strategy at Yonge Street Mission in Toronto, applying advanced human resources expertise within a adaptable hybrid model. As Director of People and Culture, you will provide operational leadership for YSM’s department and serve as its primary human resources subject matter expert. The role covers recruitment, total rewards, performance management, training, employee wellness, compliance, organizational development, and change management. You will deliver values-centered, DEI-principled solutions supporting YSM’s Christian mission.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the annual People and Culture plan and budget
- Improve policies, systems, programs, and talent processes
- Guide complex employee relations and organizational change matters
- Lead compensation,

Requirements:
- Post-secondary education and 10+ years of relevant experience
- CHRL or CHRE designation strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge across broad human resources disciplines
- Knowledge of Ontario employment and human rights legislation
- Christian theology, cultural competence, and DEI understanding Bring strategic judgment, relationship-building, and people leadership expertise to YSM’s Toronto-based People and Culture function.
