Lead mineral processing performance at Agnico Eagle’s Meliadine operation in English, coordinating metallurgical teams, process circuits, and refinery activities. As Senior Metallurgist, you will report to the Process Plant Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent. You will coordinate metallurgists, technicians, and refiners while supporting secure, environmentally responsible operations. The position emphasizes metallurgical analysis, performance reporting, quality control, cost management, and continuous optimization across the process plant.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate metallurgical activities and departmental objectives sustainably
- Ensure safe, environmentally responsible process plant activities
- Oversee sampling, mass balance, production reports, and inventory




- Coach metallurgists and metallurgical technicians
- Plan budgets, procurement, trials, and performance improvements

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mining, metallurgical, or chemical engineering
- Minimum 10 years of mineral processing experience
- Strong technical, analytical, and practical judgment skills
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork abilities
- Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Apply mineral processing expertise, leadership, reporting, and optimization skills as Senior Metallurgist at Agnico Eagle’s Meliadine operation.
