Intermediate Power BI Administrator to support gateway management, capacity management, and platform reliability Our large Oil & Gas industry client is seeking an Intermediate Power BI Administrator to support gateway management, capacity management, and platform reliability. This role will also provide Power BI development support, administer Microsoft Power Platform environments, maintain governance standards, and assist with Copilot platform administration in alignment with enterprise governance requirements. Duration: 1-year initial contract with a strong possibility of extension Working model: Hybrid onsite within downtown Calgary (3 days onsite/ 2 days remote) Must-Haves
- Hands-on experience with Power BI administration, including gateways and capacity management.
- Experience troubleshooting Power BI performance and data refresh issues.
- Experience administering Microsoft Power Platform environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Power Platform governance, including DLP policies and setting management.




- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot administration and enterprise AI governance.
- Experience delivering technical training, user enablement, or knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Experience coordinating with external development or outsourcing partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage Power BI gateways, capacity, performance, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor platform health, data refreshes, and capacity utilization.
- Support Power BI report development and coordinate with external development partners.
- Administer Power Platform environments and maintain governance standards and controls.
- Support Copilot platform configuration and usage controls in alignment with enterprise AI governance requirements.
- Provide user guidance, training, and knowledge sharing on platform capabilities and best practices.
