Develop NLP and generative AI models at EvenUp, working hybrid from San Francisco or Toronto with Python and machine learning expertise. Build technology supporting Piai™, EvenUp’s claims-intelligence platform. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work with senior engineers, data scientists, and legal experts. You will transform legal and medical data into production-ready models for personal-injury clients. The work spans machine learning, natural-language processing, and generative AI.

Key Responsibilities
- Explore and benchmark ML, NLP, and generative AI methods
- Fine-tune LLMs and develop retrieval-augmented generation systems
- Build datasets and data loaders from case data
- Design experiments, run A/B tests, and analyze results




- Integrate models with testing, monitoring, and scaling support

Requirements:
- Degree in computer science, machine learning, or related field
- Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning fundamentals
- Hands-on NLP or generative AI experience
- Python proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or spaCy
- Ability to work hybrid in San Francisco or Toronto Apply machine learning, NLP, Python, and generative AI skills to production models powering EvenUp’s legal technology.
