Lead payments analytics engineering at Scribd, using advanced SQL and Databricks to build trusted, production-quality data foundations across products. This senior-most technical leadership role supports payments, billing, subscriptions, identity, and Trust & Safety. You will define canonical models, semantic layers, and reliable metrics across Scribd, Everand, and Fable. The work partners closely with Product Analytics, Data Science, Product, and Engineering. Key Responsibilities:

Own canonical payments, billing, and subscription models in Databricks Define KPI and semantic layers for payments and identity Extend governed models and metrics to Trust & Safety Drive data quality, observability, lineage, and root-cause analysis Build AI tools grounded in certified metrics and tables Requirements:

Eight or more years in analytics or data engineering Deep hands-on expertise with payments processor data Practical experience with identity and authentication data Advanced SQL and production Databricks experience Ability to influence senior product and engineering leaders Bring payments expertise, advanced SQL, and governed modeling to Scribd’s trusted analytics engineering foundations.
