Product Application Architect - Enterprise Modernization

with our large consulting client, working for a large modernization project for a public sector, crown corporation in the Montreal area.

Role: Product Application Architect - Enterprise Modernization

Type: Permanent or Long Term Contract

Location: Hybrid - Montreal, QC -(2/3 days per week onsite)

Salary: Base salary ranges from $140,000 - $160,000 (depending on experience) + 9% bonus + 4-5 weeks paid vacation + 6% RRSP matching + perks + sick/personal day + cell phone allowance + discounts for public transit and may other perks

Contract Pay Rate: $100 - $120/hr (freelance/incorporated)

Language Requirements: English & French

Key Info: Candidates must be based out of Quebec

Responsibilities

Design application and integration architectures.

Define services, APIs, and integration templates.

Supervise the technological choices of the product teams.





Ensure the consistency of the architecture with enterprise standards.

Contribute to the performance, security and resilience of solutions.

Support the development teams throughout the implementation.

Participate in the analysis of major incidents and continuous improvement.

Support Cloud, DevOps, and application modernization initiatives.

Sought-after technologies

Experience Cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Desired profile

10 years and more in software engineering.

Minimum of 5 years in application architecture or solution architecture.

Experience with high-availability transactional systems.

Experience in integration, APIs, and distributed architectures.

Technical leadership and ability to influence product teams.
