Prepare accurate estimates for medium to large projects. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will support early-stage budgets, hard-bid, construction management, design-build, and stipulated price estimates. The role involves coordinating mechanical scope with architectural, civil, structural, and electrical estimators. You will also review drawings, tender documents, subcontractor quotes, contracts, and project-specific risks throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare pre-construction estimates and early-stage project budgets Assemble organized hard-bid and design-build estimates Coordinate scope delineation and estimating matrices Review drawings,



tender documents, and submission requirements Complete quantity take-offs for labor, equipment, and materials Requirements:

Intermediate or senior mechanical estimating experience Knowledge of estimating strategies and construction contracts Ability to read engineering drawings and calculate extensions Experience with mission-critical, industrial, pharma, or life science sectors Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical education Bring mechanical estimating, quantity take-off, and construction contract knowledge to EllisDon’s pre-construction team.
