Job Summary

We are seeking a welcoming and organized Host/Hostess to create a positive first impression for guests and help keep restaurant service running smoothly. In this guest-facing role, you’ll greet and seat guests, manage reservations and wait times, and coordinate with the service team. Candidates with hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or food service experience are encouraged to apply.

Duties

- Welcome guests promptly and provide attentive, professional guest services.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, seating arrangements, and guest flow.
- Communicate estimated wait times and respond to guest questions with courtesy.
- Answer incoming calls using professional phone etiquette and share accurate information.
- Coordinate with servers and other team members to support smooth serving and dining-room operations.
- Use a POS system to manage seating or guest information; experience with Micros POS is a plus.




- Keep the host stand and entrance area organized and presentable.
- Help address guest concerns and involve a manager when needed.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service, communication, and hospitality skills.
- Friendly, composed, and organized approach in a busy workplace.
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests and coworkers.
- Guest services, serving, food service, restaurant, or hotel experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is helpful; Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Pay: $18.25-$19.25 per hour
