JOB DESCRIPTION – Security Systems Technician

Liberty’s Smart Security Technician is responsible for providing expert residential Smart Security installations and Servicing for customers to ensure the customer’s needs are met in a timely and effective manner. Smart Security Technicians will use communication, technical knowledge and problem solving to deliver the highest level of customer experience.

This position is on the road away from home through the warm months of the year and is an opportunity to see what Canada has to offer! Job Duties:

- Installation and Servicing of Smart Security Systems. You understand how to do wire runs to ensure a clean panel install. Knowledge of wireless devices, their benefits as well as limitations to ensure customers are getting the right devices for their home. Understanding of Liberty’s Quality standards and installing to those standards.
- Customer relations. You understand how to communicate with customers in a professional manner.



Ability to train customers on how their system works ensuring that they have a clear understanding of all features. Answer customer questions with patience and professionalism.
- Managing Personal Inventory. You keep track of your personal equipment inventory and order equipment as necessary to ensure that you are prepared for installations. Weekly personal equipment inventory counts to keep track of rolling inventory variances.
- Problem Solving. You have the ability to troubleshoot situations as they arise. Read instruction manuals when facing something new, call technical support and contact proper channels for help if needed.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Clean Criminal Record
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Technical Experience is a plus
- Sales experience is a plus

Working Conditions: Field environment. Weekend or evening work is expected. Travel Required.

Pay: Piece work, commissions, bonuses

Start Date: Immediately

Pay: $500.00-$2,000.00 per week
