Operate and troubleshoot power plant equipment with Capital Power at East Windsor Cogeneration Centre on a permanent, full time rotating shift schedule.

This Plant Technician role supports combined-cycle cogeneration operations and maintenance at a safety-sensitive industrial facility. You will work with turbines, generators, compressors, pumps, electrical distribution, and instrumentation systems. The position includes equipment rounds, maintenance planning, contractor coordination, and computerized maintenance management system use.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot power plant equipment
- Read and analyze instrumentation data during equipment rounds
- Plan, schedule, and complete maintenance tasks




- Coordinate parts purchases and contractor services
- Develop permits and support incident corrective actions

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Recognized journeyman trade ticket or listed certification
- Five or more years in power plant operations and maintenance
- Ability to interpret drawings, procedures, and technical manuals
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work rotating shifts
