Scotiabank is hiring a Senior Client Relationship Manager for its Agriculture Banking team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The role manages an established portfolio of agricultural clients, identifies new business opportunities, and delivers tailored commercial financial solutions. Client credit authorizations range from $5 million to $35 million, with annual revenues of $25 million to $100 million.

Responsibilities

- Grow and manage an Agriculture Banking client portfolio and develop strategies for sustainable business growth.
- Build referral networks, maintain a prospect pipeline, and conduct market analysis.
- Collaborate with product specialists to provide integrated financial solutions.
- Analyze financial information, prepare credit applications, and manage credit risk.
- Monitor the credit portfolio and ensure compliance with policies, risk guidelines, and authorization conditions.
- Lead client onboarding,



including KYC and enhanced due diligence.
- Track agriculture-sector trends and market developments.

Qualifications

- Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, or equivalent work experience.
- Commercial, business, or agricultural banking experience; ideally 2–5 years.
- Experience preparing and analyzing credit applications, with knowledge of commercial lending, deposit products, client profitability, KYC, and AML.
- Ability to assess moderately complex lending opportunities and financial strength.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, a valid driver's licence, reliable transportation, and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
