Apply solid assessment skills as a Registered Psychologist at The Family Centre, using evidence-informed practice with children and families. Build collaborative relationships across communities.

This position provides comprehensive assessments for children, youth, young adults, caregivers, and families referred through Children and Family Services. You will clarify referral questions, review records, conduct interviews, administer measures, and write objective reports. Trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered practice supports safety and family functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct psychological, parenting capacity, behavioural, and safety assessments
- Complete interviews, testing, observations, consultations, and report writing
- Integrate findings, diagnoses, strengths, needs, and practical recommendations
- Collaborate with practitioners,



caregivers, Indigenous communities, and professionals
- Prepare court documentation and provide expert testimony when required

Requirements:

- Master’s degree or doctorate in Psychology
- Full College of Alberta Psychologists registration and valid practice permit
- Independent comprehensive assessment and psychometric interpretation experience
- Clear, defensible clinical report writing for complex needs
- Knowledge of child development, trauma, culture, and family relationships
