Conduct EEG testing at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre while operating digital equipment and supporting accurate neurological records. This is a casual chance in Abbotsford, B.C.
Fraser Health is seeking EEG Technologists I to perform electroneurophysiological tests and prepare technical preliminary reports. The work includes patient assessment, electrode placement, Carotid Endarterectomy monitoring, equipment maintenance, and supply management. Results are forwarded to Neurologists for diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and record EEG tests using digital equipment
- Analyze recordings and formulate technical preliminary reports
- Review requisitions, histories, and patient test requirements
- Set up and monitor Carotid Endarterectomy procedures
- Maintain equipment, electrodes, supplies, and workload information
Requirements:
- Graduation from a recognized Electroneurophysiology Technology program
- One year of recent, related experience or equivalent preparation
- Eligibility for CBRET and/or BRETC registration
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to operate equipment and organize work
