Lead geochemical studies and ML/ARD programs for ERM in Vancouver, supporting major mining projects through technical leadership and environmental permitting.

As a Principal Technical Consultant, Geochemistry, you will advise clients and lead complex work involving geochemistry, water resource management, impact assessment, and permitting. This casual contract provides assignments on an as-needed basis, with varying hours shaped by business and client demand. You will support large-scale capital projects and ERM’s integrated water management services across Canada and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead geochemical characterization and ML/ARD management studies
- Review technical deliverables for scope, budget, schedule, and quality
- Develop mass balance and geochemical models




- Mentor personnel and lead multidisciplinary technical teams
- Build client relationships and develop technical proposals

Requirements:

- MSc or PhD in geochemistry or related field
- Six or more years of consulting experience
- Canadian qualified registration and valid driver's license
- Mining environmental assessment and permitting knowledge
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities
