The Fort McMurray Catholic School Division is seeking teacher applicants for potential positions in the 2026–2027 school year, from kindergarten through Grade 12. Areas of specialization may include mathematics, sciences, career and technology studies (CTS), and humanities.
Duties
- Identify students’ learning needs and plan and deliver instruction accordingly.
- Provide a supportive learning environment and help students develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
- Evaluate and communicate student progress, and prepare remedial programs when needed.
- Meet with parents and collaborate with other professionals about student needs and progress.
- Attend meetings, seminars,
and in-service training; extracurricular supervision may also be included.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education degree and eligibility for Alberta Teacher Certification.
- Robust relationship-building skills; flexibility, adaptability, and organization.
- Commitment to education and working with students.
