This permanent full time Solutions Architect role supports Corporate Services’ Digital & Customer Experience department. You will assess enterprise solution architecture, application portfolios, and information technology road maps. The position also guides technology selection, analysis, design, implementation, and project team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define enterprise solution architecture, standards, and development practices
- Create frameworks for reusable software components across York Region
- Develop application architecture requirements, models, designs, and road maps




- Coordinate cross-functional analysis and implementation activities
- Manage solution security, risk, migration, and infrastructure alignment

Requirements:

- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification
- Minimum five years’ solution architecture, design, and development experience
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, platforms, stacks, and programming languages
- Understanding of APIs, integration, security, modeling, and user-centered design
