As an Accident Benefits Unit Claims Manager, you will lead a growing team and manage operations supporting business goals. The work includes communication, process improvement, technological advancements, audits, compliance, and high-quality claims handling. This full-time permanent prospect is based in Edmonton or Calgary, with four office days initially, transitioning to three weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set performance expectations through coaching and mentoring
- Manage operations against key business goals
- Develop process improvement and technology initiatives
- Audit staff files and calls for quality assurance
- Measure performance, productivity, compliance, and claims quality
Requirements:
- Two years corporate management or four years insurance experience
- Leadership skills inspiring, coaching, and engaging staff
- Strong communication and superior interpersonal skills
- Empathy, integrity, and customer-focused judgment
- Commitment to self-development and ongoing learning
