Shoppers Drug Mart is hiring an Inventory Associate for Central Pharmacy Services in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a full time, regular position reporting to the Supervisor, Supply Chain.
Responsibilities
- Place and receive orders, maintain inventory records and the MMS system, investigate discrepancies, and monitor stock levels.
- Receive, store, rotate, and replenish pharmacy inventory; remove expired products and manage returns and wastage.
- Perform cycle counts, review inventory reports, and communicate low-stock and out-of-stock situations.
- Manage product recalls by isolating and quarantining affected products, and support quality and compliance processes.
- Review inventory needs for operational initiatives and work with site and cross-functional teams to resolve inventory issues.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education and 1–2 years of pharmacy or inventory experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and lift up to 35 lbs.
Schedule and compensation
Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hiring range: $18.75–$23.75 per hour. Employee purchase discount program offered.
