Maintain Enbridge’s industrial turbines and compressors at Parkway West, Ontario, using mechanical troubleshooting and repair expertise. This regular full time unionized position supports the Dawn-Parkway System.
As a Plant Mechanic, you will service natural gas turbines, power turbines, and compressor sets up to 44,000 horsepower. You will also repair hydraulic valves and ancillary plant equipment. The work includes CMMS assignments, safety meetings, construction oversight, and rapid mechanical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair industrial natural gas and power turbines
- Troubleshoot centrifugal and axial compressor sets
- Repair hydraulic-operated valves up to 48 inches
- Maintain ancillary compressor plant equipment
- Use CMMS and participate in safety meetings
Requirements:
- Grade 12 education or proven equivalent
- Class G driver’s licence and suitable driving record
- Mechanical, mathematical, and technical aptitude
- Availability for days or shifts as needed
- Willingness to use respirators and enter confined spaces
