Support special needs students with mobility assistance, personal care, and safety during Monday-to-Friday school hours from 08:00 to 13:00.

This attendant assists students with disabilities throughout school-related activities. The work includes wheelchair guidance, transfers, hygiene support, eating and dressing assistance, and supervision. The employee also follows individualized education plans, records observations, and communicates with teachers, parents, and designated staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist students moving between school locations and vehicles
- Support hygiene, dressing, eating, drinking, and toileting
- Supervise recess, meals, naptime, recreation, and pool activities
- Administer medication and first aid when required




- Respond to crises while protecting everyone’s safety

Requirements:

- Relevant DVS, Secondary V Diploma, or equivalent studies
- One year of pertinent experience in related areas
- Experience working with special needs children
- Standard first aid course of at least eight hours
- Bilingual with positive interpersonal and teamwork skills
