The Sanitation Technician performs cleaning duties throughout the warehouse. The position supports customer, internal, and legislative audits through accurate records and consistent procedures. Responsibilities also include customer service, janitorial supply support, and compliance with food safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform necessary cleaning functions throughout the warehouse
- Record information accurately on SYSCO and external documents
- Provide internal and external customer service
- Assist with janitorial supply inventory and purchases
- Follow SYSCO Food Safety Policy and procedures
Requirements:
- Two years of general warehouse or related experience is an asset
- High school diploma preferred
- Material handling equipment exposure is an asset
- English language fluency required
- Willingness to report hazards, incidents, and environmental spills
