Prepare patient meals at Nats’oojeh Hospital and Health Centre as a part time Food Service Worker with accurate tray portioning skills. Work rotating evening shifts from 15:00 to 19:00.

Under general supervision, this Food Service Worker supports Cooks and follows Northern Health policies, food safety, and sanitation plans. The position prepares food and beverages, portions therapeutic diet items according to nutrition care plans, and supports meal service. It also includes dishwashing, cleaning, and cash collection.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Cooks by preparing salads, vegetables, sandwiches, and desserts
- Measure and combine food and beverage ingredients
- Set up and portion accurate patient and resident meal trays




- Check trays against nutrition care plans and required diet items
- Wash dishes and serve staff meals

Requirements:

- Grade 10 and one year recent related experience
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Organize work and operate related equipment
- Physical ability to carry out position duties
