Operate forklifts and support warehouse functions as a full time Material Handler I with Ryder in Caledon, Ontario. Work Tuesday through Friday overnight shifts.
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, this Material Handler I performs loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Ryder is a Fortune 500 company with locations across the United States and Canada. The work supports accurate product movement, warehouse documentation, and automated packing system operations. The schedule runs from 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks within warehouse performance guidelines
- Pick, pack, audit, stage, and induct totes accurately
- Operate forklifts and complete cycle counting activities
- Process picking sheets, returns,
and bills of lading
- Support automated packing system technical and maintenance needs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid forklift operator license certification preferred
- Ability to lift or push and pull up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods and follow safety methods
