Maintain Michaels’ store appearance in Richmond Hill with cleaning, recovery, and customer service responsibilities in a part-time retail setting. Support clean, protected shopping areas while helping customers find products throughout the store.

This Store Environment Team Member maintains cleanliness and recovery standards that support Michaels’ Brand Promises. The position includes floor care, trash disposal, equipment movement, deep cleaning, and friendly customer assistance. Retail or cleaning experience is preferred, with tasks performed according to company procedures and applicable legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect and dispose of trash using approved procedures
- Dust and damp mop floors throughout assigned areas
- Deep clean bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways,



and high traffic areas
- Maintain orderly cleaning equipment and request replenishment supplies
- Help customers shop and locate products in store

Requirements:

- Retail or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to stand and move throughout the store
- Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves
- Must be at least sixteen years old
