Use SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding skills with OCL Group Inc. on its Fort McMurray Shovel Maintenance Team, working six days on and six off.

OCL is recruiting two Journeyperson Welders for ongoing shovel maintenance and outage support. The work includes crack identification, cooper heat setup, gouging, repairs, and component fabrication. Welders work with clients and contractors independently or in groups, regularly outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform ongoing shovel maintenance and support outages
- Identify cracks and repairs according to procedures
- Gouge cracked or fatigued metal for repair
- Weld using SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW processes
- Fabricate components from drawings or instructions

Requirements:

- Journey-certified Welder with Interprovincial Red Seal Certification
- Three to five years of related experience
- Availability for night shifts and six-on, six-off rotations
- CSO or CSTS2020, Fall Protection, Confined Space, and H2S Awareness tickets
- WHMIS 2015, driver’s license, and clean driver’s abstract
