This Engineering Student role supports major projects in the BC Region through drawings, quantity takeoffs, scheduling, and site coordination. You will review trade quotes, monitor productivity, maintain records, and participate in project meetings. Familiarity with computer software for word processing, spreadsheets, and drafting is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate drawings, scopes, trades, and sub-trades
- Review trade quotes, quantities, hours, and rates
- Complete deficiency walks and update logs
- Update field drawings and produce as-built drawings
- Perform quantity takeoffs and verify site conditions
Requirements:
- Robust desire to work in construction
- Prior field construction experience considered an asset
- Use word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Use drafting software and computer programs
Support PCL construction projects in Kelowna through engineering coordination, drawings, takeoffs, and practical field experience.
