Support lamination production at Layfield’s Edmonton facility using safe material handling and accurate finishing practices. Work across day and night shifts.

As a Manufacturing Helper, you will assist the Manufacturing team throughout the lamination process, from material preparation through product finishing. The work includes loading materials, operating forklifts, supporting roll changes, and completing printing and labelling. Solid organization, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and attention to safety support this position’s daily requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Load and unload raw materials onto machines
- Safely operate forklifts during manufacturing activities
- Assist with the roll change process
- Print and label finished rolls
- Clean lamination plates and maintain 5S work areas

Requirements:

- Ability to work day and night shifts
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Driven, self-starting approach to assigned work
- Manufacturing experience considered an asset
- High school diploma or GED desired
