FedEx is looking for a dedicated Trailer Switcher to manage trailer movements within the loading yard. The position involves physical loading, unloading, and sorting of packages. Ideal candidates will have experience working as a package handler or switching/CDL operator. Bilingual candidates in Quebec are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Move trailers to and from loading/unloading doors
• Load and unload packages onto delivery vehicles
• Sort packages using scanning and labeling methods
• Lift, carry, push, and pull packages continuously
• Maintain safety and efficiency throughout tasks
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a positive record
• Six months of package handling or CDL experience
• Bilingual in French and English (Quebec applicants)
• Ability to lift and handle packages repetitively
