Reporting to the Retail Manager, Hardlines, you will create a world class shopping experience through product recommendations and customer support. The role emphasizes evaluating customer needs, promoting company programs, and maintaining knowledge of outdoor trends and emerging technologies. Experience in sales, service, or a related outdoor field is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legendary service and recommend products based on customer needs
- Promote company programs and promotions to store customers
- Maintain signage, recovered merchandise, and sales floor presentation
- Resolve customer issues using judgment and logic
- Assist other store areas when business needs dictate
Requirements:
- One or more years’ sales or service experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to evaluate needs and make recommendations
- Knowledge of outdoor lifestyle trends and emerging technologies
- Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s product knowledge is an asset
